Most of the time, RGB gaming peripherals are seen as gimmicky. Not with the Logitech G560, though. Utilizing RGB, these gaming speakers offer various features that will improve your audio and gaming experience.

1. Logitech G560 Design and Features
The G560 may look intimidating at first. How could it not? There are lots of pieces and wires on the speakers. The reality is, it is not as complicated as it looks. Setting up is easy.
You just need to follow the setup instructions on the box. Takes a few minutes, and it will be set and ready to use.
The G560 consists of a rectangular subwoofer and two circular speakers. These parts are connected using monitor cables. There is also a cable that allows direct connection between the subwoofer and the computer and a power cable.
The speakers are sizable: roughly 7.5 by 6.0 inches at their widest point. The subwoofer can be placed on the floor, but for the speakers, you will need to free up some space for them.
On each speaker, there are six high-powered RGB LEDs. Two for the front and four facing the rear. When set at their highest brightness level, the lighting can be a bit distracting in a dark room.
Fortunately, there is a button at the right speaker that allows you to tone it down or turn it off.
2. Logitech G560 Gaming Performance
The Logitech G560 software is the Logitech Gaming Software. With other Logitech peripherals, the software is a welcome addition. Not with the Logitech G560, though.
The software is absolutely necessary. Using the software, you can do various things, from activating the speakers’ surround sound, configuring their lighting, creating profiles for games, to switching between equalization settings.
The speakers provide rich and immersive sound. And this applies to all games, regardless of the genre. They allow you to hear music, sound effects, and voice work.
Since the speaker’s support surround sound, you can position them in a way that it feels as if the game you are playing is happening right where you are.
The G560 is also loud, which can be both a good and a bad thing, depending on your situation.
What’s great about the G560 is that it allows you to adjust the volume in apps and games individually. This is a very convenient feature. You can switch games without having to set up the speakers again.

3. Logitech G560 Music Performance
Although the G560 is designed to be gaming speakers, the music performance is quite impressive. If anything, they handle music and movies just like they handle games: superbly.
The stereo setting sounds nuanced and robust. The DTS 7.1 surround-sound setting, on the other hand, brings life to passive entertainment. The sound is beautifully balanced, too.
So when you are taking a break from gaming and switch to listening to music or watching your favorite movies, you won’t be disappointed.
