1. Brother MFC L2750DW Design and Features

Design

Although it is an all-in-one device, the MFC L2750DW is desktop-friendly. With dimensions of 16.1 x 15.7 x 12.5 inches and a weight of 26.5 lbs, it can fit on a desktop comfortably.

The device has two trays: one is a cassette tray with a capacity of 250 sheets, the other is a one-sheet override tray. It also comes equipped with a built-in automatic duplexer, which can be used for double sided scanning, printing, and copying.

In the control panel, there is a 3.5-inch color LCD, a number pad, and a group of buttons. Using these, you can not only configure the device but also perform walk-up print, scan, copy, or fax jobs.

Features

Connectivity options are plenty. And by plenty, we mean the device pretty much has it all covered. You can connect the device to a computer via USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, or NFC. No need to worry. WiFi setup is easy.

Mobile connectivity is also supported, from Brother’s own iPrint&Scan, Google Cloud Print, and Apple AirPrint. Of course, to make the most of what the device has to offer, you need the Brother MFC L2750DW driver.

You can install the driver from the installation disc. Alternatively, you can also download the installer from the device’s support page on Brother’s official website. Besides the driver, you can also find other supporting software, the user’s manual, and other helpful information regarding the device on the page.

2. Brother MFC L2750DW Performance

For an entry-level all-in-one device, the MFC L2750DW is quite fast. For one-sided printing, it can print as many as 34 A4 size pages per minute and 36 Letter size pages per minute. For two-sided printing, up to 8 A4 size sheets per minute and up to 8.5 Letter size sheets per minute. Quite impressive for its price.

The output quality is average. Text quality is excellent. It is highly legible and crisp even the font is as small as 4 points. Graphics quality is good, although there is a problem with consistency. It is acceptable for internal business uses. Photo quality is below average as the banding is noticeable.

The device also has high running costs. While it comes equipped with a large starting cartridge that may last quite a while, it is a matter of time before you need to purchase a replacement cartridge. This, in turn, can increase the running costs to up to 3.6 cents per page.
